A monthly fee of $2.75 will be assessed regardless of the extent to which you use the service. A minimum consumption charge of $5 per month applies as of November 15, 2009.
Per-Minute Charges
Customers choose one destination from those listed below and will be charged the applicable per-minute rate to calls placed to that single destination.
UniendoAmérica Base rates apply to international destinations other than the one selected under this plan.
A per-minute rate of $0.083 applies to state-to-state calls. Customers who pay an additional $0.95 pay $0.05 for state-to-state calls.

If you call an international cellular destination, you may be assessed an additional per-minute Surcharge as noted in International Cellular Per-Minute Surcharge Schedule.
Definitions relating to the Mexico I, II and III code regions are outlined in you Customer Service Agreement.
You are also responsible for Government Mandated Charges, which include taxes and fees that Americatel is required to assess on its customers by law and which vary depending on the your location.
During the first quarter of 2012, customers will be assessed a Universal Service Fund Fee of 17.9% applied to the Americatel charges. This Fund is collected from telecommunications carriers and is administered by the federal government to help provide affordable telecommunications services for low-income customers and customers in rural areas and Internet access for eligible schools, libraries and rural health care providers.
Customers will be assessed a monthly USF Administrative Fee of between $0.04 and $1.54. This fee helps Americatel recover costs associated with Universal Service Fund billing expenses.
