INTERNATIONAL CELLULAR - MINUTE SURCHARGE SCHEDULE



These International Cellular Per-Minute Surcharges apply to all plans except for Americatel Prepagado.  The International Cellular Surcharges applicable to Americatel Prepagado are listed in the Americatel Prepagado Schedule.  

The International Cellular Surcharges for all other plans are the following:

If you place a call to a cell phone in a foreign country, Americatel will assess an additional per-minute Surcharge to your call.  The Surcharge varies by country and by foreign country code. 


Calculate the applicable Surcharge by adding (1) the base per-minute rate applicable to your call under your contracted Americatel plan and (2) the per-minute International Cellular Surcharge for the country of destination as listed below.

 

Example:

 

For an Americatel Prepagado Customer calling a cell phone in Argentina, the rates would be as follows:

 

Add the base or “Rest of Country Rate” for calls to Argentina under the Americatel Prepagado Plan of $0.05 per minute plus the Argentina International Per-Minute Cellular Surcharge of $0.15 listed in the chart below. 

 

Therefore, for calls to cell phones in Argentina you pay ($0.05 + $0.15) or $0.20 per minute.

Mobile Termination Surcharges will be updated periodically, and the rates for each country will be adjusted (increase or decrease) as deemed necessary.
